I have heard of FAS before; it's intriguing that the nature of the new accent changes for each individual, isn't it? Thankfully I've only bumped my head a few times and never needed to be hospitalized. My mother used to have a BBC announcer sort of accent after attending British schools, so when I was younger I tended to mimic her manner of speaking. Sometimes when I'm really tired, I seem to regress back to those pseudo-British speech patterns.
